How do I enroll in a course?

Create a free Verten account or log in, open the course you're interested in, and click Enroll. You get access right away. The course appears in My Learning, where you can track progress, resume where you left off, and access your certificates.

Do I need prior experience to take a course?

No. Most Verten Academy courses are designed for beginners. Every course shows its difficulty level and estimated duration on the course page, so you can pick what fits your starting point.

How do payments and billing work?

Prices are in US dollars (USD) and shown on each course page. Each course is a one-time payment (no subscription), processed securely by card through Stripe at checkout. We never store your card details.

Can I use a coupon or discount code?

Accepted Answer

Yes. On the course page, click Apply coupon, enter your code and click Apply. The discounted price is shown before you pay. If the coupon covers the full price, you are enrolled straight away with no payment step.

How long do I have access to a course?

Every course includes 180 days of access from the day you enroll. Your end date is shown at the top of the course and in My Learning. If your access expires before you finish, you can re-enroll from the course page.

What do I need to pass?

Accepted Answer

Pass each module's knowledge test, then pass the Practice Exam with 80% or higher to unlock the Final Exam. To pass the Final Exam, score 80% or higher on its knowledge section and have every criterion in your recorded demonstration rated Demonstrated or Exemplary. First aid courses finish with an in-person skills session with a qualified instructor instead of a recording.

Do I get a certificate when I finish?

Yes. Your Certificate of Achievement is issued automatically when you pass. Download it as a PDF or JPEG. Every certificate has a public verification link that employers can open to confirm it's genuine, including employers on the Verten job portal.

What happens if I don't pass?

Accepted Answer

You can retake the Practice Exam as many times as you need. The Final Exam knowledge section allows 3 tries in any 24 hours, and the recorded demonstration allows 3 attempts. Review the course material between attempts. Your progress is never lost.
