How recorded assessment works
Final exams include a recorded demonstration. You upload a recording of your screen and voice. AI services turn your speech into text and help rate it against the course rubric, and a Verten assessor reviews on request or by sample. We do not use facial recognition. Verten staff who run assessments can view it, and each view is logged. Recordings may be stored or processed outside Canada. We delete them 12 months after your result (6 months if you are under 18). You can withdraw consent at any time, and you can ask for an alternative assessment without giving a reason. Learners under 18 need a parent or guardian to consent.

Your first weeks at a new provider decide how quickly you become someone the team can rely on. This course shows you how an OAP provider is organized and where your role sits in a family's service journey, gives you a plan for your first 30 days covering policies, privacy, safety, and documentation basics, and teaches the everyday habits of working with families and your team: boundaries, plain messages, and clean handoffs. It does not teach law. The Ontario privacy and safeguarding rules are taught in OAP-102 and OAP-103. You practice on a fictional provider and pass by doing the work and explaining it out loud.
