After this course you can
- Given an invoice and the activity evidence behind it, trace every line to its evidence and identify each line that is unsupported, overstated, or for a service that did not happen.
- Given a day's events, record an accurate activity log and timesheet: real start and end times, the right activity code, the client file number, unpaid breaks, and a day total that reconciles with the shift.
- Given a submitted timesheet and its evidence, find errors, correct them with the original visible and a reason, and route each correction to approval, payroll, and billing.
- Given Ontario records, apply the retention periods under the Employment Standards Act, 2000 and federal income tax rules, and check invoice lines against Ontario Autism Program funding rules.

How recorded assessment works
Final exams include a recorded demonstration. You upload a recording of your screen and voice. AI services turn your speech into text and help rate it against the course rubric, and a Verten assessor reviews on request or by sample. We do not use facial recognition. Verten staff who run assessments can view it, and each view is logged. Recordings may be stored or processed outside Canada. We delete them 12 months after your result (6 months if you are under 18). You can withdraw consent at any time, and you can ask for an alternative assessment without giving a reason. Learners under 18 need a parent or guardian to consent.

This course teaches you to record time and activity accurately on the same day, to trace any invoice line back to its evidence, to correct errors the right way, and to keep the proof. The last module covers the Ontario rules: payroll records under the Employment Standards Act, 2000, record keeping for Ontario Autism Program funding, and how long the evidence must be kept.
