Sign off a learner
Record the competency score, recommend a pass and sign with your typed name.
- Open Skills Sessions from your profile menu and click Learners on the session.
- Find the learner. Enter their in-person Competency test score (%).
- If the score is 80% or higher and they demonstrated every skill, tick Demonstrated skills, recommended pass. The box stays greyed out below 80%.
- Type your full name in Type your full name to sign.
- Click Sign record.
What happens next
The certificate is issued automatically once both parts are done: your signed record and the learner's online course. If the learner has already finished online, you will see “Signed. Certificate issued.” Otherwise the Certificate column shows “Waiting for online part”.
The certificate shows your name, the session date and “Skills observed and signed off in person by a qualified instructor.” BLS-301 certificates are valid for 12 months from the session date.
Made a mistake? Click Unsign to edit. This is possible only until a certificate is issued from the record. After that, contact us at support@verten.ai.
